Srinagar: Capital of Kashmiri – Srinagar famous for its Dal Lake / house boats and gardens. One of the best known and most popular handicrafts for which Kashmir is famous is the variety and design of its carpets. The art of weaving carpets which first came from Samarkand in Central Asia, was later modified by artisans from Iran and given a new direction during Emperor Jehangir's reign when the Persian knot style of weaving was brought in by Kashmiri craftsmen..

Kashmir boasts an unrivaled tradition of craftsmanship and some of its specialties are finely carved and chiseled woodwork of walnut and oak; brilliantly coloured and painted papier-mâché; chain stitch embroidered rugs; crewel work; leather and fur; onyx and semi-precious stones and beautifully worked silver.

D Zozila Pass and Kashmir Valley : Driving in East to Kargil you will arrive at Sonamarg which is one of the beautiful hill station in Kashmir situated at the bottom of D Zozizla pass. Also famous for a hub for Amarnath Yatra – Hindu pilgrimage and dedicated t Lord Shiva.

Your drive to the top of D Zozila pass differes Kashmir and Ladakh region. Further drive will take you to Drass the coldest region in India. Dramatically exchanged variation of this route will thrill your journey and exchange with an unforgettable experience.

Lamayuru & Alchi Valley: Driving in the east from Kargil to Leh you will arrive at Mulbekh and see Stone Carved statue of Buddha which is century year old. Further drive will take you to fatu La pass and arrive at Lamayuru monastery. This valley called Moon Land due to its stange geographic formation. Lamayuru Monastery One of the most ancient monastery in this region. Drive further toi arrival at Alchi the only one monastery constructed on a flat ground in Ladakh. This is a world heritage site by UNESCO. Follow the right back of river Indus witness confluence of river Indus and Zanskar. Stop for a while at Magnetic Hill to see the strange magnetic effect on your vehicle. Pathar Sahib the only one Gurudwara in the region worth visiting. Your straight and flat drive from this point will have a glimpse of Leh town with an endless series of mountains at the backdrop

Leh: one of the most beautiful city situated at an altitude of 3500 M ASL famous for highest high altitude airport an ethnic / Ancient and colorful city. Khardungla Pass & Nubra Valley : highest motorable pass in the world which make you feel being at the roof top of the world. This pass differ Nubra valley and Leh valley. border with Pakistan in north west and Tibet in north east. Nubra means valley of Flowers a silk route to Siachen Glacier and way to Pakistan. Lush green valley with two hump camel awaits for your arrival.

Pangong Lake: one of the most beautiful high altitude lake in the north east of Leh city. Considered approx 150 long lake has around 25% in India and rest in Tibet. Changes its color as per the sun light and you may see the spectrum of its reflection from different angle. Approx 150 kms drive onw way worth visiting to see the silent witness of God’s creation.

Day 01 Arrive Jammu & Drive to Srinagar

You will be met on arrival at Jammu airport and transfer to Srinagar. Approx 8 – 10 hours drive is expected and depends on the traffic condition. Check in at the Deluxe house boat and stay overnight.

Day 02: Srinagar – Drass - Kargil. (8 Hrs – 204 Kms)

Morning after Breakfast leave for Kargil, by visiting Sonamarg (Known As Meadow of Gold), Enroute Drass which has become famous as the second coldest inhabited place in the world by virtue of the intense cold that descends upon the valley along with repeated snowfall during winter. Winter temperature is sometimes known to plummet to less than 40 degree Celsius. Have a magnificent view of Kargil war Famous Peaks (Tiger Hill, Tololing) & visit Vijay Smarak and pay your tribute to soldiers who laid their lives for us in Kargil War in 1999, reach Kargil hotel by evening. Day 03: Kargil – Ule – Leh . (9 Hrs – 230 Kms)

Morning after Breakfast leave for Ule, enroute visit Mulbek it is a huge Chamba statue, an image of a future Buddha, cutting to the rock face beside the road. It's one of the most interesting stops along the road, after that visit Lamayuru monastery (Founded in the 10th Century it’s the Oldest Monastery in Central Ladakh) later have a magnificent view of spectacular Moonlandscape. leave for Leh enroute visit Alchi Monastery, Nimo , Sangam of Zanskar and Indus River, Magnetic Hill, Pathar Sahib Gurudwara. Lunch at Hotel in Leh. Evening free time at Leisure.

Day 04: In Leh ( City tour )

After breakfast explore the best of the town. Visit Shanti Stupa / Shankar Gompa / Leh palace / Namgyal Gompa and hall of fame.
Post lunch explore Shey and Thikse monasteries

• Shey Palace & Monastery

This summer palace of the erstwhile King of Leh is set upon a hill. The monastery itself has a 7.5 meter high, copper statue of a sitting Buddha, wrought in gold. This is the largest of it’s kind in the world.

• Thiksey Monastery

19 Kms from Leh, Thiksey is one of the largest and most impressive Gompas of Ladakh. The Thiksey monastery provides a panoramic view of the green Indus Valley from its vantage point atop a hill. It has chambers full of statues, Stupas and colorful Tankhas.

Day 05: Leh - Pangong Lake – Leh (4 Hrs one way – 150 Kms approx )

Early morning after Breakfast leave for Pangong Lake (14,500 ft) through Changla Pass 17,350 ft. (third Highest Motorable road in the world), arrive at this beautiful lake and spend the afternoon here. After lunch retrace back to Leh and overnight stay

Day 06 : Leh-Nubra Valley

After breakfast leave for Nubra Valley, driving across Khardong-la (alt: 18,380 ft). After descending from the pass, drive on for sightseeing of Sumoor area. Later check into a fixed camp in the same area or drive across to Deskit for overnight stay in a camp.

Day 07: Nubra Valley-Leh

In the morning visit / explore Deskit , Hundar and the Sand Dunes where you can enjoy a short camel safari using the double-humped Bactrian camel found here (optional on direct payment). Later drive back to Leh, reaching in the late afternoon / evening. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 08 : Leh Departure

After breakfast you will be dropped at the airport in time to board flight fro onwrd destination
